Ideal for slicing relatively hard types of cheese such as Emmental, Dutch cheese (Gouda, Edam), but not ideal for full-cream types of cheese like Danbo and Esrom. Slices of full-cream cheese may fold and stick to the upper part of the blade. Perfect for cutting off rinds of cheese.
