In 2009 Alessandro Mendini is contributing by providing his famous corkscrew with a delicate proust style costume covered in coloured triangles, the symbol of dreams and representing the sense of freedom that we want to give to mankind. Alessi will donated proceeds from the sale of the corkscrew to help realise the dreams of many underprivileged children in orphanages in Brazil and Mongolia.
